Colorful

Hilarizim of the week: Colorful.

Now, colorful can have a lot of different meanings depending on how you look at it. At first thought, I would normally probably think of a picture or a painting of some kind that is very brightly colored and decorative.
Colorful is my hilarizim of the week because it describes me. Some may think I operate on a whole different playing field, and that's okay. But rather than describe myself as odd or different, I use the word colorful to describe me. I am a very colorful person, and not just in the color of clothing I wear. So next time your out there trying to describe your weird sister, friend, or daughter, instead of using weird (because lets be honest, that could be a whole field of different) use colorful instead!! :)

Hilarizim of the Week

My friend Stephanie and I have decided I should blog about my random, fun, made up words. We will call them Hilarizims. I am going to try (very, very hard) to have one a week. Some may be already words, some are combined words, and some are just plain made up. Some think that my randomness is odd and weird, but it doesn't bother me. It makes me who I am and I am now spreading it around to anyone who decides to read my blog; so enjoy!! :)

Pets I want

So in the future, I really want to have pugs and pigs. I want to get a teacup pig, which is a breed of a guinea pig and a well, regular pig. I also want a ton of pugs. I do have names already picked out, which can be deemed kind of sad. In a classified ad here in Kentucky, there was a pug puppy being given away, and I just about 90% gave in and called them. I don't have the time nor the space or the money to have my animals yet, but someday I will. My younger sister honestly believes I will live on a farm someday so I can have these pets. I can see that. But that just means I gotta find a farm to live on. :)
P.S. Yes, I do want that many pugs!

2nd Place at Conference!!

This past weekend, my men and women's track team competed at the Mid-South Conference Championships up in Rio Grande, OH. We finished 2nd place out of 9 for both the men and the women.(Last year the women finished fourth and the men sixth to show you the improvement from one year to the next). Shorter College finished first place on both the men's and women's side with a 100 point lead on the Women's side and more than a 100 point lead on the men's. They are a fully funded, full scholarship program. It was assumed by all coaches in our conference that they would automatically finish first for both. We are very happy with our outcome for conference this year!!
Next Stop: NCCAA Nationals up in Joliet, IL (by my hometown!) next weekend. We are taking about 23 qualified athletes up there!
