Kings Island
Just made it through my first adventure to Kings Island in Ohio. I am not really big on rides and amusement parks, but somehow Brandon convinced me to go. Went on my first rollercoaster in about 11 years, and then I would only go on one because they scared me so much. I am not big on fast or heights, so rollercoasters were never my thing. Ended up on about 6 different rollercoasters at Kings Island... kind of proud of myself for making it that far. I even went on the Diamondback, which is the tallest and fastest there, at about 280 ft in the sky... ahhh. Brandon even got a mementous photo of me scared to my wits on an indoor rollercoaster, that went upside down. I was very scared on almost all of the rides, but made it through them all.

It is 3 weeks away from another cross country season. 3 weeks and my new athletes and returning athletes will return to campus to begin another cross country season; this will be my fourth. I am currently awaiting for my team of 22 athletes to arrive, of which 11 of those are new athletes. I am beyond excited to start another season, another school year, and another team. The nerveracking part is that I only have 3 weeks to finish preparing for their arrival, which is probably why it is 6 o'clock and I am still at my office. In the meantime, I have begun recruiting for the 2013 school year already. The downside - i've lost my recuriting binder. I have no idea where it is and it has all my stats for recruits. So tomorrow's agenda: Make a new recruiting binder... BOO!!! While doing all of this, I need to make sure I enjoy my last 3 weekends of nothingness before all of my weekends are gone, which isn't always a bad thing, but it does get exhausting. I am also excited for the school year because I get to teach a first class, which is an introductory class that freshmen are required to take to make the adjustment into college classes and life. I am very thrilled about it and I start my training for that in about 2 weeks or so. I am also getting my butt running again. I am going to be doing a triathlon on September 9 with two of my girlfriends as a team. One of them will swim and the other will bike, while I will run. All of these things are going to make a great semester, season, and time. I am very excited!
